MEET THE FOUNDER

---

Michael Ohlman founded Forge Baseball Academy with a simple goal:

to create the kind of training environment he believes young players

need to reach their full potential.

A former MLB catcher, Michael

spent more than a decade in professional baseball, developing his game

within multiple Major League organizations and experiencing firsthand

what separates talented players from those who continue to advance.

That experience now shapes the way athletes are trained at Forge.

Michael specializes in hitting and catching instruction, combining

professional-level knowledge with an ability to communicate complex

concepts in a way young athletes can understand and apply.

His approach goes beyond simply taking swings or running drills.

Every athlete is challenged to understand their game, develop better

movement patterns, compete with confidence, and become a

more complete baseball player.

Forge Baseball Academy was created to bring that same professional

mindset to youth development — combining high-level instruction,

strength and performance training, technology, measurable progress,

and competition under one roof.

For Michael, the mission is bigger than baseball lessons. It is about creating an environment where athletes are held to a high standard, learn how to compete, and develop the work ethic and confidence necessary to succeed both on and off the field.
